What is the longest you would stay with someone without getting married?

If you were with someone and you loved them and they loved you and they said they wanted to get married and were planning on it, but kept holding back- how long would you stay with that person before moving on? I'm just curious. I know every situation is different, but a rough estimate will do. Thank youWhat is the longest you would stay with someone without getting married?
Depends on my age. Anywhere between ages 29-37 I would wait a maximum of 2 years. What is the longest you would stay with someone without getting married?
It really depends on how important marriage is to you. Is getting married going to change your relationship? Having children, buying a house together, things like that??? There are a lot of people out there that stay together and don't ever get married. My friend dated her husband for 13 years before they got married. I don't think there is a time limit to dating someone. Think about why it is so important to you to get married. If your relationship is good, go with the flow....marriage will come when its supposed to. The old saying, don't try and fix something that isn't broke.
I've been married for over two years and I can honestly say that marriage is not easy. I rushed into it and neither me nor my husband were ready. He still has a lot of issues with being married. He's immature and has no feelings towards anything. He wasn't that way at first, so you should really be careful about getting to know the person before thinking about marriage. If I were divorced now, it would be at least three maybe four years or even more before I thought about getting married again. It is very hard work and you have to want the same things in life.
It depends, on what really going on in our lives and if every thing is good and he just keep making excuses i would stay about three years that enough time for any one to get to know the basic of each other life.
The longest I would stay unmarried would be... Around 5 years.
5 yrs...if they dont marry by then they won't.
