What should a USMC officer should wear when he is getting married?

Well my cousin is getting married and he told me he wants to wear a tuxedo instead, could he do that???What Dress uniform should he wear???

-Just curiousWhat should a USMC officer should wear when he is getting married?
A smart Marine officer will defer to his bride on this and wear whatever she wishes. That said, dress blue is nice and would not be improper on such an occasion. Maybe he can get some fellow Marines to form an arch of swords too. Very classy and his bride will remember it always. (as will he )What should a USMC officer should wear when he is getting married?
Being that it is a special occasion, he is authorized to wear his military dress uniform if he chooses to (Dress Blues most likely). He is not required to do so. He may also wear appropriate civilian attire.

There is nothing that says he HAS to wear his dress blues for the wedding, so he can wear a tux if he wants to. As an officer, he's probably working on a career in the USMC... so wearing the dress blues wouldn't seem like such a big deal to him as it does to women... who love men in uniform!!

If his fiance doesn't mind him wearing a tux, then you shoudn't either.
Your cousin can wear a tux if he wants, or anything else for that matter. It is his wedding not a military function.
USMC dress blues beat the tar out of a tux any day! you could make an ugly man look good in them! Whew gotta love a marine in his blues!
