In Oregon we FHIAP ( Family Health Insurance Assitance Program) It use to be called Federal Health Insurance Assistance Program. It pays part of your premiums based on your income. MediCal is Medicaid in the state of California. Each state determines Medicaid Eligibility for it's own citizens. Check with your local Social Services or Human Services office. They may have referrals for you.
